Overview
CRM users can easily share feedback with the Merchant Central team by submitting feature requests directly from within the CRM.
The built-in feedback widget provides a convenient way for users to communicate ideas and suggest improvements while working in Merchant Central. This collaborative system helps the Merchant Central team continuously improve the platform and deliver a better experience for all partners and users.
All feedback submitted through the widget is reviewed and monitored by the Merchant Central team as part of their ongoing efforts to make the CRM easier, more efficient, and more powerful for organizations selling and managing payment processing services.
☝️Posts submitted in the feedback widget are public and may be visible to users outside of your organization. Do not include sensitive information or confidential screenshots when submitting feedback. If you encounter an issue that should not be posted publicly, please contact Merchant Central support directly at support@iriscrm.com.
Prerequisites
- Access to Merchant Central CRM
- The LiveChat with CRM Support permission enabled for your user class
Navigating to the Feedback Widget
- Log in to Merchant Central.
- Click your username in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Give Feedback from the dropdown menu.
How the Feedback System Works
The Merchant Central feedback widget allows users to:
- Submit feature requests
- Vote on existing suggestions
- Comment on feedback submitted by other users
- View the status of accepted requests or suggestions
- Receive notifications when requested features are implemented
Feedback is shared publicly within the Merchant Central community, allowing users to collaborate by voting on ideas and contributing additional context through comments.
This helps the Merchant Central product team better understand user priorities and focus on improvements that bring the most value to partners and merchants.
Enabling the Feedback Widget
To allow users to submit feedback, administrators must enable the LiveChat with CRM Support permission for the appropriate user classes.
How to Send Feedback
Opening the Feedback Widget
- Click your username in the top-right corner.
- Select Give Feedback
A popup window will appear where you can browse existing feedback or submit a new request.
Filtering Feedback Posts
You can refine the list of posts by selecting one of the available categories in the feedback menu.
Creating a New Feedback Post
- Enter a title describing your request or suggestion.
- Add details explaining the feature request.

Click Submit.
You can also add screenshots by pasting images directly into the Details field or selecting the attachment icon to upload a file from your computer.
After submitting your post, other users can vote for the idea or add comments to contribute additional feedback.
To open a post and view additional details or add comments, simply click the post within the widget.
Suggested Posts
As you begin typing a title for a new post, the feedback widget automatically displays suggested posts related to your topic.
Reviewing these suggestions can help determine whether another user has already reported the same issue or requested the same feature.
If the topic already exists, you can:
- Add comments to provide additional context
- Vote for the request to support it
This helps prevent duplicate posts and highlights the most important feedback for the Merchant Central team.
Issue Tracking
The feedback system automatically syncs with Merchant Central’s internal issue tracking system.
This integration ensures that feedback submitted through the widget is tracked and managed by the Merchant Central development team.
Each feedback post may be assigned one of the following statuses:
- Open
- Under Review
- Planned
- In Progress
- Complete
- Closed
When a feature request is implemented or a bug is fixed, the related post is automatically updated to Complete. Users who voted for the post will receive a notification.
You can view notifications by clicking the bell icon in the top-right corner of Merchant Central.
