Enabling the Last Note Column
To display the most recent user notes in the dashboard reporting tables, click on the Gear icon in the top right corner of your table and then select the Last Note option:
Tip: To get to the Last Note option faster, type "Last Note" in the search field and the drop-down menu will automatically move the option closer to the top.
Once selected, the Last Note column will appear in the table. You can use this column to view the most recently entered user notes and also sort the table in ascending or descending order (just as you would with other enabled columns):
You can move the Last Note column to a different position within the table, by dragging and dropping the column header into its new position (e.g. to the right of the Last Note Date column).
Viewing Notes
By default, only the first few words of the note will appear in a table.
To view the full content of a note, simply hover over the note with your mouse. The note will expand automatically, showing the entire content of the note:
Viewing Images Attached to Notes
Some notes may have images attached. For those, a placeholder will appear within the text in the Last Note column:
To view a thumbnail of the image, move your cursor over the placeholder:
To preview the image, click on the thumbnail:
From the preview, the user has the option to download the file via the link on the bottom left corner.
If there are multiple images attached to the Note, the user can view them by clicking the Next button on the right side of the preview. To close the preview, either click on the X icon in the lower right corner or simply click anywhere outside the preview area.
Exporting
The Last Note column will also show up in your exported reports. For example, to export your report to an Excel file click on the Export drop-down menu and click the XLS option:
In a few seconds, your Excel report will be created (including the Last Note column) and downloaded to your PC:
