The Merchant Central integration with Fiserv Reporting for Payment Facilitators enables payment facilitators to view Fiserv merchant account information, deposits, adjustments, retrievals, and chargebacks right from within the Merchant Central.
As part of the Merchant Central's advanced merchant reporting tools, the integration ensures that you have a stable, fast, and automated data feed from Fiserv.
How To Set Up Your Fiserv Reporting in Merchant Central
Step 1: Enroll in Data File Manager (DFM)
The first step is to get set up in the Data File Manager application. You will need a valid Business Track account that has access to Data File Manager in order to set up and use the integration.
In order to gain access to Data File Manager, contact your Fiserv/First Data Relationship Manager. Enrollment is completed through the Business Track/ClientLine.net portal, and you will receive an email once your enrollment to Data File Manager has been completed.
Step 2: Send DFM Username and Password
Next, you will need to gather a DFM Username and Password from Fiserv. The DFM information will allow Merchant Central to access the data feed from Fiserv.
Once you’ve received your DFM Username and Password, email support.iriscrm.com with the information and a request to set up Fiserv Payment Facilitator reporting in your Merchant Central site. After the Merchant Central support team confirms that the process is underway, you can proceed to step 3.
Step 3: Create Test File
Log in to Data File Manager, and open the Create Files tab.
Find the Template Name section, and select All Records by Funded Date – Spec 43 (Except Telecheck).
Once you make the selection, an extra section will appear that allows you to configure the test file.
Ensure that your configuration matches the screenshot below, then click Create Test File:
Step 4: Notify Merchant Central Support
Notify Merchant Central support at support@iriscrm.com once you have created the test file in Data File Manager.
Our team will reach out to confirm that the files are moving correctly from Fiserv into Merchant Central, then you can proceed to step 5.
Step 5: Move Files to Production
Now that you’ve created the test file and confirmed that the data is flowing from Fiserv to Merchant Central, we only have one step to go. Log in to Data File Manager and open the Manage Files tab.
Now you should see your test file, along with the option Move File to Production. Select your new test file, click Move File to Production, then click OK to confirm your choice.
Moving the test file to production is the final step for setting up the Merchant Central’s integration with Fiserv.
Now, you will be able to view Fiserv merchant account information, deposits, adjustments, retrievals, and chargebacks right from within Merchant Central.
