Overview
Your CRM provides you with the ability to map your Lead fields to the TurboApp fields, enabling you to automate the transfer of merchant information during the boarding process. This significantly reduces manual entry, minimizes errors, and speeds up the onboarding of merchants.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to the CRM system
- TurboApp enabled in your environment
- At least one processor configured in TurboApp
Navigating to the TurboApp field mappings page
To begin mapping your fields navigate to Manage → TurboApp → Field Mappings and select the appropriate processor.
The mapping page will automatically display all available TurboApp fields for that processor across several tabs.
How to map TurboApp fields
The Field Mappings interface consists of three columns:
- TurboApp Fields (left column)
- Lead Fields (middle column)
-
Field Type (right column)
To begin your mapping:
- For each TurboApp field, select the corresponding Lead field from the dropdown in the middle column.
- Choose the appropriate field type (e.g., text, phone, date, etc.).
- Your selections are saved automatically.
To un-map a field, select the first entry in the dropdown list: -- Select Field --.
Use the search box at the top of the mapping page to locate fields and map them faster. The list will automatically update to show matching results.
Field mappings can be exported to a an Excel file using the Export button.
How to perform a test board
After completing your mappings, it's recommended to test the configuration using a temporary lead:
- Create a temporary test lead and populate its fields with sample values.
- Save the lead.
-
Click the Board Merchant button on the lead record to initiate the TurboApp boarding process.
Compare the information in the TurboApp interface with the original lead values to ensure the mappings are working correctly.
ℹ️ Since this is a test lead, do not submit the TurboApp at the final step of the boarding process.
