The lead Attachments tab allows you to generate PDF applications (that are automatically populated with the lead's information) and upload new lead files.
You can also email, delete, or automatically download multiple attachments as needed:
If there are many files attached to the lead you can use the Search box to find a file faster:
Generate A PDF Application
To generate a PDF application, select the app from the application dropdown and click Generate.
The new application will be downloaded automatically and also attached to the lead:
Upload Lead Documents
To upload one or more documents, click on the Upload New File(s) button:
Now drag and drop files into the upload box or click Browse to select files from your computer:
Additionally, you can select users to be notified about the new documents in the Notify Users field.
After selecting your documents click the Upload button and the files will be saved.
Uploaded files can be deleted, renamed, or emailed using the action shortcuts shown to the right of the files:
To rename an attachment simply click on the pencil icon for that attachment.
A popup window now appears where you can rename the attachment and also select a different label if needed:
Mass Actions
The Attachments tab provides options to email, delete, or download multiple lead files.
For example, to email multiple files simply select the Email Files option, select the files to email, and click the Apply For x Files button:
A new email is now launched with the selected files attached to the email automatically.
Once the email is launched you can also add additional files (either from the lead or from your computer) or remove selected files from the email:
Deleting Multiple Files
To delete multiple files from the lead select the Delete Files option, select the files to be deleted, and click the Apply For x Files button:
A confirmation message now appears as shown in the below image.
To proceed with the deletion click the Delete button and the files will be deleted:
Downloading Multiple Files
To download multiple files select the Download Files option, select the files to download, and click the Apply For x Files button:
If you selected 4 or more files to download, then the files will be automatically zipped and downloaded as one zip file:
If you selected 3 files or less, then the files will be downloaded as individual files.
Note that a message may be shown in Chrome asking if you want to allow multiple files to be downloaded. Simply click Allow and the files will begin to download:
