Not every functional or formatting problem is a bug. Instead of calling IRIS Support, refreshing your browser page or clearing your DNS cache might often be the solution to the problem.
Here are a few ways to refresh your browser page:
To reload the page you are viewing in your browser, click the Refresh icon at the top of it:
Hit the F5 key on your keyboard.
Hold down the “Ctrl” key and then hit the letter R key.
Hard Refresh Page
To do a “hard refresh” hold down the “Ctrl” key and then hit the F5 key.
Hold down the “Ctrl” key and hold down the Shift key and then hit the letter R key.
Hit the F12 key on your keyboard, then right-click on the Refresh icon to see the reload menu.
Empty Cache and Hard Reload may be necessary.
Clear Browsing Data
Hold down the “Ctrl” key and hold down the Shift key and then hit the Delete key.
Or put “chrome://settings/clearBrowserData” in the Chrome address bar.
Use Command Prompt to clear the DNS cache
Hold the Windows and hit the letter R key. Type “cmd” and click OK.
In Command Prompt enter: ipconfig /flushdns and hit the Enter key.
Hit the Windows key and type “cmd”. Then choose Command Prompt from the results.
Use Chrome to clear the DNS cache
In the Address Bar of Chome enter: chrome://net-internals/#dns
Click the “Clear host cache” button”.
Use an Incognito Window
Open an Incognito window in Chrome using one of these methods:
- Hit Ctrl+Shift+N on your keyboard.
- Choose “New incognito window” from the Chrome menu.
