The Merchant Management page allows users to manage existing accounts, create new ones, assign user permissions, and set residual payout percentages (user splits).
To open the page, navigate to Manage > Administration > Merchants > Merchant Management:
The page shows the merchant report table and several report filters.
In the top-right corner of the page you'll also find buttons to jump to the Merchant Importer page quickly, or to Add New Merchant:
Using Merchant Report Filters
To view only the merchants assigned to a specific user or users, open the user filter and select the required user(s):
As you select users, the report table will automatically refresh, and your filter selections will be shown in the search preview area which appears automatically:
To add additional filters to your search, click on the drop-down on the right, and select the type of filter to add to your search:
After you've selected your filter-type, an additional drop-down menu will appear which allows you to select a specific option within that filter-type (for example, a specific processor).
After you've selected the desired option, click Add:
Your new filter will now be added to the main filter, and the report table will refresh automatically:
If needed, you can remove a filter by simply clicking on the "X" icon on that filter.
Saving Your Search
To save a search for later use, click on the Save Search button, enter a name for your search, and click Save:
You can find your saved searches in the filter-type drop-down menu on the right:
When you click on a saved search, the saved filters will be automatically applied, and also the name of the search will be displayed in the filter preview area:
If you wish to delete a saved search, click on the thrash icon shown to the right of the search name.
Managing The Report Table
The main report table contains the standard sort, export, and pagination features:
To show or hide specific columns from your report table, click on the gear icon in the top-right corner, and select or de-select columns as needed:
To locate a specific merchant within your report faster, select the DBA or the MID search type, and depending on what you selected enter either the DBA name or the MID number you're looking for:
As you type in the search phrase, the report table will refresh automatically and show the matching results:
Viewing User Splits
To view the user splits for a specific merchant, hover your mouse over the user icon in the Users column:
If no icon is present then that means that the merchant does not have any assigned users.
To view the historical user splits for merchants shown in the report table, use the month/year filters in the top-left corner of the page:
As you select a different month or year, the % column in the report table will automatically refresh and show the user splits which were set for the selected month and year:
Editing Merchants
To view a history of changes for any merchant, click on the history icon next to the merchant's name, and a popup will appear showing all the changes made to the merchant over time:
To assign new users to the merchant or to update the user splits, click on the View button for that merchant and edit the merchant as needed:
After you finish editing the merchant, click Update and your changes will be saved.
To access more merchant editing options, click on the merchant's MID number and the Manage Merchant page will open up where you can change and update other merchant settings:
