The CRM Dialer displays a detailed history of all incoming, outgoing and missed calls on the Log tab.
You'll also notice a variety of additional useful features that will help you stay organized and assist in connecting with contacts and team members.
Call History Log
To view a record of your call history, click the Log tab at the top of the Dialer application (the number highlighted in red shows the number of missed calls):
When you're on the tab, click on the Out, In, or Missed button in order to view your outgoing, incoming, and missed calls:
Use the page navigation buttons to view more calls:
Calls to personal contacts (who are not linked to a lead form) will appear with their phone number on the top line and the contact name in the second line:
Calls to Leads will be linked to the lead form and will also show the contact name in the second line. If there is no data in the lead form's Contact field, then only the lead name will be present:
To call any person on the log list simply click on their phone number link and you will be connected automatically:
To delete a specific log entry, click on the Delete icon:
To add a phone number to an existing contact (or to create a new contact), click on the Add button and the Contact dialog will open up:
The Log tab also provides the ability to delete all outgoing calls with a single click (a similar button is also available for incoming and missed calls):
Note that only users with Delete All permissions enabled for their User Class will be able to see these buttons. Deleting the calls will also delete all voicemails, including those in Groups.
The Missed calls tab shows both the calls placed to you and the calls placed to the groups that you are a member of:
After you have viewed all of the missed calls, the red missed call indicator shown on the Log tab will disappear.
