You can find a detailed history of all incoming, outgoing and missed calls on the Log tab of the Dialer application. You'll also notice a variety of useful features that will help you stay organized and assist in connecting with contacts and colleagues.
Call History Log
To view a record of your call history, click the Log tab at the top of the Dialer application. A notification on the tab will alert you to the number of missed calls.
When you click the Log tab, the window will default to the Out sub-tab, which displays all of your outgoing calls.
Calls to personal Contacts (not linked to a lead form) will appear with their phone number on the top line and the contact name in smaller text on the second line.
Calls to Leads will be linked to the lead form and will also have the contact name in smaller text on the second line. If there is no data in the lead form's Contact field, only the linked lead name will be present.
To call anyone on this list simply click the hyperlinked number to the right of the phone icon. The number will auto-dial and connect you with your contact or colleague instantly.
To Delete a log entry, just click the trashcan icon in the last column.
Only users with Delete All permissions enabled for their User Class will see the Delete Outgoing Calls button. This button will delete all voicemails with a single click, including those in Groups. Note: this also applies to the Delete Incoming Calls and Delete Missed Calls buttons on their respective sub-tabs.
You can add a new Contact by clicking the + icon to the left of the trashcan icon. This will open an Add To Contact dialog.
You can browse through your entire call history by using the numbered Navigation buttons located above the table. The user can move forward or backward via the arrow buttons or by clicking a number.
The features and functions mentioned above also apply to the In sub-tab which contains a record of all incoming calls that were accepted by the user. However, the Missed sub-tabs does have some features that are unique. Specifically, the Missed sub-tab has another set of tabs for any Groups to which the user may belong.
The number of missed calls for a Group (or the 'Me' tab for calls directed to the user) will display in parenthesis. Both the circular red notification on the Log tab and the parenthetical notification on the sub-tabs will disappear once the user has viewed the Missed call log.
