Employees with similar phone responsibilities can be arranged into separate Dialer groups which are assigned a common incoming phone number and a customized outgoing voicemail message.
This article provides instructions on how to:
- Create a Dialer Group
- Delete a Dialer Group
- Add or Remove Users From a Dialer Group
Create a Dialer Group
1. To create a new group, go to Manage > Administration > Dialer > Dialer User Settings and click the Settings button (wrench icon) for any user:
2. On the Edit User Settings dialog which opens, click Manage Groups:
3. On the Manage Employee Groups dialog which opens, enter the name of your new group and click Add New Group:
4. Your new group will now be shown on the list of employee groups:
5. If needed, you may add a Waiting Queue Recording or a Voicemail Recording to the new group. Click on the Group's wrench icon in the Manage Employee Groups dialog, and the Edit Employee Group dialog will open.
You can use the dialog to upload your Queue and/or Voicemail recordings. When finished, click Save:
6. After you have finished editing your new Group settings, save and close all open dialogs.
Delete a Dialer Group
1. To delete a group, go to Manage > Administration > Dialer > Dialer User Settings and click on the Settings button (wrench icon) for any user.
2. On the Edit User Settings dialog which opens, click Manage Groups.
3. On the Manage Employee Groups dialog which opens, click the X button to the right of the group you would like to Delete and confirm the deletion.
4. When you're finished deleting groups, close and save the open dialogs.

Add or Remove Users from a Dialer Group
1. To add or remove users from a dialer group, go to Manage > Administration > Dialer > Dialer User Settings and click on the Settings button (wrench icon) for the desired user.
2. In the Edit User Settings dialog which opens up, select the checkboxes next to the group you would like the user to belong to, or de-select if you're removing the user from specific groups ( user can belong to multiple Dialer groups).
3. When finished, click Save and your changes will be saved.
