Need an organized way of storing notes for your Leads and Merchant accounts? There is an easy way to do this in IRIS. To leave a note on a lead that you have in the system, you start by navigating to that Lead. Once there, you can access a tab called Notes.
Click on the tab to open it, and then click + Add Note button and then type your note:
After typing your note you have some options before posting it. You can notify specific people if it requires attention, or check mark the box that says Notify All Assigned Users to automatically populate the list to include all users that are assigned to the lead. If it is very important, you can click on the checkbox at the top left to "Stick note to the top" which will prioritize the note showing up on top of your other Notes:
Then click Post when you are finished:
You can see how many notes have been left on a Lead or Merchant by looking at the number in parenthesis in the title of the Notes tab. The above lead has 3 notes on it.
Adding a note to a Merchant account is very similar. Navigate to a Merchant account and click on the Profile tab to access the Lead record that is linked to the account. Click on the Notes tab from there and follow the same process as above:
