The Notes tab on your lead enables you to post and share lead notes with other users, search the notes, and filter the notes to show only selected note types:
To add a new note simply type the text of the note and hit the Post button.
The new note field also allows you to add images to the note. More Info: Adding Images To Lead Notes
You can also speak your note instead of typing it by clicking on the microphone icon near the Filter button. As you speak, the CRM's speech recognition feature will automatically enter your words into the note text field.
Important notes can be pinned to the top of the Notes tab. More Info: Pinning a Note
The Notes tab includes both user-generated and system-generated notes in different categories such as calendar, e-sign, emails, visitor tracking, etc. If needed, you can filter the tab to only show the notes in specific note categories. More Info: Filtering Notes
If you would like to share the note with other users simply select those users in the Notify Users field (a pick-list will be shown once you click on the field) or select the Notify All Assigned Users checkbox:
Note: You can only notify users who have been assigned to the lead.
Saved notes are displayed in chronological order at the bottom of the Notes tab, and you can search, edit, and delete them:
Note: To search for notes created on a specific date, simply enter the date in the Search box using the mm/dd/yyyy date format.
If a lead has been linked to a merchant account, then you may also add lead notes on the Merchant Details page under the Profile tab:
