Generating custom proposals quickly and accurately for sales reps is paramount.
Your CRM enables you to create proposal templates which can be used by your sales reps to create custom proposals in minutes, using the Proposal Generator.
The Proposal Generator automatically calculates the Merchant fees and generates side-by-side comparisons for your leads that are easy to understand.
If needed, sales reps can also easily make adjustments to the previously generated proposals without having to start from scratch.
Uploading Your Custom Proposal Generator Template
To create and save a new proposal template in the CRM follow these steps:
1. Create your template in RTF format. While creating your template you can place multiple placeholders in your document which will be replaced with real data once the proposal is generated. For more information on available placeholders and their meanings, please see the Template Placeholders reference table below.
2. Open the Manage Proposal Templates page (Manage > Administration > Leads > Proposal Generator Templates) and click on the Add New Template button. A popup will appear where you can enter the title of your proposal, upload the RTF you created in step 1, and optionally set up group, user class, and user access permissions. When finished, click Add, and your template will be saved:
3. Your template will now be shown on the list of your Proposal Generator templates. You can always make changes and updates in your templates by using the provided template actions:
4. To make a specific template the default template, click the Make This Template Default button. A gold star will the appear before the title denoting its default status:
